Optics Valley Metering & Calibration Co.,Ltd ("Optics Valley Metrology Station" in Chinese and "OVMC" in English) was established on January 24, 2017, located in Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone, Optics Valley, China. Optics Valley Metering Station is the only designated metering and calibration sub-center in Central China authorized by Optoelectronic First-class Metering Station (Optoelectronic Metering and Calibration Center of East China Institute of Electronic Measuring Instruments).

Optics Valley Metering Station is jointly established by Optoelectronic First-class Metering Station and Wuhan Yangtze Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd.. The first-class optoelectronic metering station is mainly responsible for the research of key metering and testing technologies and core technologies in the field of optoelectronics, representing the highest level of optoelectronic metering in China. Yangtze is a high-tech enterprise with optoelectronic technology as its core. The company is mainly engaged in the research, development, production and sales of five categories of products, such as special optical fiber cables, special optical devices, new materials, high-end equipment and photoelectric systems, and provides customers with metrological calibration and testing services. The core product of the company is the optical fiber ring applied to fiber optic gyroscope. It is the only enterprise in China that has opened up the upstream and downstream industrial chain of the optical fiber ring. It has a number of core technologies and invention patents, and various products are widely used in smart grid and marine monitoring industries. Optics Valley Metering Station aims to build the first brand of optoelectronic metering calibration and testing in central China with Wuhan Optics Valley as the center, and is positioned as Wuhan Optics Valley Service Center of Optics Valley as the first-class optoelectronic metering station.
