AV6336 handheld passive optical network power meter is mainly used to test the optical signal power transmitted in the optical fiber communication network, but different from the ordinary optical power meter, it has the function of burst mode optical signal power test, multi-composite wavelength optical signal power The test function and the online monitoring function of the optical fiber network can test the optical signal power of all types of information (including voice, data and video) transmitted in the optical fiber network, and can simultaneously support different types of BPON, EPON, and GPON. The optical transmission network can meet the optical power test requirements of the installation and construction, activation and service, and fault diagnosis of the passive optical network project.

Burst Mode Optical Power Test Function
It has the function of burst mode optical power test, which can measure the power of the access burst mode optical signal.
Multi-composite optical signal and network online monitoring function
It has an optical transmission straight-through path composed of OLT and ONU ports, and has the function of wavelength selection test for upstream and downstream composite optical signals, and indicates the selected wavelength and its corresponding measurement port on the display.
Logarithmic optical power and linear optical power display function
Enter the measurement mode of absolute logarithmic optical power, relative logarithmic optical power and linear optical power through key operation, and switch the corresponding unit to dBm, dB or mW, uW.
"PASS" (pass)/"FAIL" (fail) network status indication function
Enter the measurement mode of "PASS" (pass)/"FAIL" (fail) through key operation, and compare the current measurement result with the current alarm threshold to display the status of "PASS" or "FAIL".
Alarm threshold setting function
Edit and store 10 groups of alarm threshold data, you can choose to call one of them as the threshold used for the current measurement.
Data storage and playback capabilities
The current test data can be saved through key operation, and the stored data can be recalled through the display. Up to 1000 groups can be stored.
USB interface function
With a USB data transmission interface, it can communicate with the computer to realize the upload of stored data and the download of alarm thresholds.

Simultaneously measure and display all PON signals:
The AV6336 passive optical network power meter can simultaneously test three wavelength signals in the fiber: 1310 nm upstream wavelength and 1490 nm and 1550 nm downstream wavelengths; its burst mode test function can perform accurate burst optical power for 1310 upstream PON signals test. The pass-through design of the AV6336 passive optical network power meter can make it connect between the OLT and the ONU. The power meter only extracts a small part of the signal for use, and tests all the wavelengths used while ensuring that the ONU continues to operate.
Up to 10 definable threshold settings:
The AV6336 passive optical network power meter has up to 10 definable threshold settings. During the test, users can set different thresholds according to the test location and the type of equipment used, and each threshold setting contains three wavelengths (1310, 1490 and 1550 nm), each wavelength has its own pass , warning and fail thresholds for easy pass/fail analysis. These thresholds can be named and configured via PC-based software.
