High-temperature single-mode fiber from Fibercore, UK: SM1500SC(10/125)P adopts polyimide coating, which is suitable for distributed temperature sensor and pressure sensor. Fiber optics are also suitable for embedded fiber Bragg sensor applications for temperature and stress.
Polyimide is a high-performance resin material with a high temperature resistance of 400 degrees Celsius for short-term operation and 300 degrees Celsius for long-term operation. It is very suitable for high-temperature downhole and high-temperature embedded optical fiber applications, and can also be used in medical imaging applications.
