Product introduction

FielCar's range of specialty single-mode (SM) fibers is designed to provide customers with the best choice of fiber for their application, without the sacrifices of using standard telecom fibers.


These special fibers can significantly reduce bending losses compared to telecommunications fibers with medium and high numerical apertures (NA). This allows for smaller package sizes, especially for wrap-around sensors and next-generation small form factor telecommunications equipment.


Reduced clad diameter fibers are designed to reduce static fatigue when the fiber is wound, providing longer mechanical life at smaller coil diameters. Reduced cladding diameter fibers provide high NA benefits from improved bending losses and improved


Mechanical life when coiled tightly.
